Membership runs from April 1, 2009 through March 31, 2010
You may join at anytime during the year, but your
information will not be published in our hard copy
"Membership Directory", if your membership is not received by March 31 each
year.
RMLA is dedicated to educating the membership and public about lamas (llamas & alpacas).
RMLA reports: current health issues; and keeps you informed about Governmental interventions into lamas, livestock or other related areas.
RMLA has over 25 events planned for 2009 for owners and public.
RMLA has a very extensive library of books, magazines, videos and articles available to members.
RMLA has always been a leading promoter of youth activities & 4H. The "RMLA Foundation" is a non-profit organization created by RMLA and supported by donation, The "Foundation" awards scholarships and/or gifts to the RMLA youth who are enrolled in College or University.
RMLA supports the Lama Medical Research Group which co-ordinates the Lama Medical Research for the Lama Industry.
RMLA helps support the National and Regional promotion of llamas and alpacas.
RMLA Members have the opportunity to Market their animals, products and services very inexpensively in the Service Directory, "The YELLOW PAGES OF THE LAMA INDUSTRY". The advertising window is only open from January through March each year. Hard copies are distributed at all events and for a slight additional charge your ads may be placed on this web site.

RMLA Memberships include:
Regular, annual, adult membership $40 per year Allows up to 2 (two) adults to vote. Provides a ranch/farm listing on this web site.
Life membership one time fee of $500 entitled to all of the above, with special recognition in the membership directory and on the web site. May be paid in 4 quarterly installments of $125.00 each.
Youth membership $10 per year. Requires an adult-member sponsor. For young llama lovers under 19 years of age.
Young Adult membership $10 per year. Requires a parent-member sponsor. For the former Youth members only, who are students beyond High School. Allowed 1 vote.
All members receive Directories; Journals and/or Newsletters, one copy per household; when they are published; & urgent or timely lama related e-mail messages, provided you give us your e-mail address.
Please note: you may make a Donation to the "RMLA Foundation Inc.", a non-profit established by RMLA, creating College/University Scholarship funding for RMLA Youth on your Membership form.
